Fryni Solonos has long standing experience in the insurance industry, which she has served in from various managerial positions.
She holds the Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance / Advanced Diploma in Insurance Practice and is certified as a Certified Claims Specialist, Motor Insurance Specialist, Underwriting Specialist, Household Insurance Specialist, and Health Insurance Specialist.
In recent years, she has focused mainly on setting up companies, internal governance, and expanding their operations. She designs and implements training programs for staff and executives, aimed at their professional development and, by extension, the delivery of high quality services. She has extensive experience in complaint handling, process documentation and revision, and internal audit.
Fryni is a director of Corim Insurance Brokers Ltd, founder of FS Fiery Success Ltd, and co-founder of Mighty Duo Communications, among others. She has significant experience in both youth education and adult education.
She studied Biology and holds postgraduate degrees in Educational Administration and Business Administration. She is a certified Vocational Training instructor with ANAD, and is a member of the Insurance Institute of Cyprus, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and the Cyprus International Businesses Association (CIBA), in her capacity as director of Corim Insurance Brokers and Fiery Success. In recent years she has particularly enjoyed writing articles and giving talks and webinars.
Since March 2025 she has had her own podcast, F-Spot, her new great passion, on the HPO Max channel, through which she features personalities from public life in Cyprus and beyond, comments on everyday life, and approaches sensitive topics with love, kindness, and respect.
Her experience spans many sectors and industries, most notably hospitality, construction, shipping, and education. She has given talks on violence against minors and has run a series of seminars training teachers in schools.
